Once you have booked your new patient visit, you will be set up in Charm, our online patient portal. You will need to provide a credit card to secure your appointment. All new patient intake forms must be complete prior to seeing the doctor. You can NOT be seen by the doctor until all forms are complete. We have a 48hr cancellation policy for all patients. Patients who cancel inside this window, or miss their appointment, will be charged the missed appointment (visit fee). Thank you for respecting our policies which supports other patients waiting to be seen by Dr. Wolford, and honors the doctor’s time. All visits will be paid in full day of your visit. Late payments over 30 days will accrue a 10% late fee. Labs will be released the day of your appointment for accurate medical review.
No, we do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide a superbill the patient can submit to insurance for potential reimbursement. A superbill is a paid invoice that includes the doctor’s information, diagnostic codes (ICD-10), and visit codes (CPT). After your paid visit, a superbill will be sent to your Charm Patient Portal. We accept Visa, MC, HSA accounts, and health benefit accounts for visits, supplements, and labs.
No, we are not in network with Medicare. If you are > 65yrs and have supplemental insurance, there is a chance your visits and labs can be covered. Otherwise, all expenses will be out-of-pocket (cash-pay). Our cash-pay labs are very reasonably priced, typically ranging from $50 - $300 based on the number of markers being run. *Pricing subject to change.
No, Dr. Wolford no longer prescribes pharmaceuticals. Although she is legally permitted to prescribe Class 3-5 drugs, we have chosen to discontinue this service, no exceptions. She has seen the power and benefit of using natural medicine to restore body function, heal and fight disease. Even though there is a time for pharmaceuticals, when you get to the root cause, pharmaceuticals are typically no longer necessary. In the case of thyroid and sex hormone support, Dr. Wolford uses natural glandulars, safe bio-identical creams and herbal formulas. We can still safely treat patients on RX and support getting them off their prescription meds if applicable, and desired.
This depends on the state, individual and license regulations. For children, California does not allow exemptions. Some institutions may accept a Letter of Intent, stating a request for a spaced-out vaccination schedule. For adults, exemptions are more possible.
